thanks jimmyjam because that the "easy come understand" picture... That aided a lot!I just acquired the diagrams and also I"m going to try the relationships right now...I"ll allow u know exactly how it works in a couple hours... Many thanks again!
Ok, probably a couple hours to be a small too much… This is exactly how I associated my wires:TB “Radio 12V” – JVC stereotype “Constant 12V”TB “Radio Ground” – JVC stereotype “Ground”TB “Radio Illumination” – JVC stereo “Car light control switch”TB “Speakers” – JVC stereotype “Speakers”I left the end 2 wires from the first factory harness: 1 black color & one more Orange (tested 0.2V and also bit smaller sized than the other orange)Stereo i will not ~ work… :duh: i think I need to affix one more wire from the JVC Harness. Ns left out the Red one, witch is indicated: “to one accessory terminal in the fuse box”…I was reasoning to obtain the accessory from the rear home window wiper or the 4WD cntrl however they’re all 9V until ignition isn’t on, then they end up being 12V…PS: 9V the stereo won’t work…

tap accessory off of the steering wheel harness.Since you"re under there, madness +12V off of over there too, the radio harness is only rated for 2A
The 12v constant you hooked up is because that the radio memory as soon as the ignition is turned off. The one that claims "to an accessory terminal" is the one that in reality powers the radio. It have to be associated to a 12v resource that is only warm when the ignition is on. Because that some factor the wire isn"t listed on the paper in the sources section, for this reason I"m not sure what color it is. If nobody else knows i will examine for you once I obtain home from work-related today.
Its not listed because its no there. The manufacturing facility HU is turn on and off by signal on the ClassII Databus. You have to go to the steering wheel exploit to gain an accessory line. Or acquire a chime adapter the generates an accessory signal. And radios draw power indigenous the continuous 12V line, no the accessory line, that only provides the accessory line together a trigger. Therefore don"t use a 24 ga cable for the continuous 12v and 12ga because that the accessory... :m2:

Gotcha. Ns forgot about the adapter. No much more posting from me if I"m still half asleep. I never ever knew the the continuous line was the one that the radio color etc the power from. I always assumed it to be the acc. Line. See what happens once you assume. :duh:
I had actually the same trouble installing mine Kenwood head unit. I discovered 12v wires in the steering once harness however they stay hot when the ignition is off. If you take off the rear home window wipers and look in ~ the front of the harness, that is the second brown cable from the best side the the harness that ns used. The stereo functions fine v that. Hope this helps.
There is both ~ above the steering wheel harness, 2x 12V constant lines and also 2x accessory, every one of them are rated for 20A a piece I think. For this reason its convenient to insanity those and also run a cable somewhere simpler to obtain to because that wiring stuff like radar detectors and all species of stuff. Likewise if you"re thinking around using amps in the future you"ll want a good ground suggest somewhere ~ above the chassis, I just redid my amplifier wiring and also now mine amp grounds space such low resistance the I"m obtaining a floor loop from my HU to my amps v my RCAs, yes, really annoying high pitch whirring that synchronizes with the fan on the back of the HU. I"ve gotta redo mine HU ground this evening
thanks y"all 4 the help! I"ll permit you recognize late tonight (Italy"s time) just how it operated out...I"m thinking of posting the entire progect on how to adjust the HU, installing Amp & Sub...If i can obtain it to occupational I"ll probably do it...
Still not done, but practically there...this is exactly how I solved the problem:didn"t connect the ignition switch... Instead I connected the "accessory terminal" with the "constant 12V" both to the TB"s 12V...this way the stereotype will always go also if the an essential isnt"s in the accessory position... :worried: i tried to find an accessory cable from the rear home window wiper control yet there was only a 9V one that worked with the ignition... The other 12V was didn"t occupational with ignition, it"s always on...
underneath the steering wheel, take turn off the black color panel over the pedals. Yes a huge harness through a bunch that wires. Yes sir a special brown wire on one end of the harness, that is an accessory wire. Madness that, it"ll execute what you desire it to.
