Here is a quick post on replacing the camshaft sensor.1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.

3. Remove 10mm bolt and remove camshaft sensor.

4. Unplug sensor, use dielectric grease to brand-new sensor and also plug in, use a small amount the grease come o-ring, replace right into block and also tighten bolt. Can"t remember torque spec but will update it once I discover it back.5. Reconnect battery cable.

I did change the sensor and also disconnected the battery. I"ll know in a pair of weeks if the starting issue has actually been fixed. I wonder if the sensor had actually really failed. I obtained the sensor because that $25 and am no concerned around the cost, but based upon your comment ns wish I had actually tried just disconnecting the battery to pressure the relearn without replacing the sensor.
