Everything operated fine yesterday but today the blower engine is non-functional (all fan rate positions). The vent pick switches don"t perform anything either. Need to I check a specific fuse first? any type of common concerns that result in this condition?Thanks...I just tried switching the 30 amp Batt 4 fuse with another fuse, no change.

I would read your automobile owner"s manual and determine wherein all the fuses are regarded the HVAC device - including the blower motor. Then, examine those fuses. It is possible the blower engine is defective. You might remove the wait inlet grille and the HVAC waiting filter - reach under inside and also see if the blower cage will certainly spin through hand (motor / vital off). Likewise see if other has gotten in the blower cage from above (such together an pet building a nest) - which may jam the motor and prevent that from turning. The blower engine is straightforward to change from listed below the gloves box.

Just an update. I initially posted this as soon as I was in the middle of running errands. By the time I was done the fan was functioning again and also has operated normally since. I"m walk to leave it be for now but if it goes out again ns think the mot sensible thing is to change the fan/motor assembly (it isn"t a fuse issue and also I doubt it"s the blower motor resistor pack). 1999"s tip above about accessing the motor from the HVAC filter opening is a good tip that I"ll keep in psychic in the future.
