Well, personally I usage Ernie round Mammoth Slinky's, i m sorry are very beefy, and take fall tunings (I play roughly Drop C - open A) an extremely well.

Edit: ns don't think you get any kind of beefy strings for acoustic, viewed as low tunings are exceptionally rare ~ above acoustic
